First of all, I want to thank the awsomeness known as Michelle Leighton for taking the time to chat with us. You have been beyond amazing and so down to earth, I can't thank you enough. <3
As you know, Fragile is my favorite book ever. How did you come up with the story line and the character of Miracle?
ML: Believe it or not, I saw Miracle sitting on that bench in the park, sad sweet smile and all. Right inside my head. Out of the blue. It was as real as if I'd actually seen her. I knew I needed to know her story, although I was pretty sure what is was considering her appearance. And just like that, she was born. :)
What's a typical work day like for you? Do you work from home? Do you use music as an inspiration?
ML: I do write from home, and I do use music for inspiration, but never WHILE I write. It's always before or after. As for a typical day, I always try to write in the mornings. It's when I'm most focused and the world seems quiet around me. It doesn't always work out perfectly, but I try.
What are the perks of being an author?
ML: Having an outlet for all the wonderful things in my head. lol
Are you fun to go on vacation with?
ML: I like to think so..bahahaha
And finally, my favorite question! Have you ever written while you were naked?
ML: Sadly, yes. lmao. On more than one occasion, I've had a burst of inspiration that demands I write something down AT THAT MOMENT! So I do. Clothing is optional. Inspiration is not. :)
Because Michelle is all kinds of awsome, she has an ebook of Fragile and The Wild Ones each to give away. Oddly enough, my blog and Rafflecopter seem to have an aversion to each other, but you can enter to win on my Facebook page here. Also, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for Michelle's latest book Until I Break, coming May 14th!
Thanks again, Michelle, for being a rockstar of an author and giving us al those hotties to dream about. You are definitely doing the women of the world a service! <3
