Introducing Becca and Prince Nikolai
Thank you so much for hosting me on your blog today. Here’s a closer look into
the lives of Becca and Nikolai, the main characters in Royally Lost.
Becca is from the Midwest. She has been forced on a family trip to Europe with
her Dad, Stepmonster, and brother Dylan.
Neither Dylan nor Becca are happy about being forced on this trip, or pretending
they’re a perfect family. Dylan makes his own fun by hitting on European girls,
drinking beer, and doing pretty much anything to annoy his control-freak father.
But Becca always follows the rules, which makes for a boring time. That is until she meets Nikolai, the crown prince of Mondovia.
Nikolai has been groomed his whole life to take over the throne. His traditional
parents make Becca’s appear warm and fuzzy. His rigid father runs the country as if were the Dark Ages and not the twenty-first century.
When Nikolai learns the King and Queen expect him to join the military, as did
his forefathers, he hits his breaking point and sneaks away in the night, traveling
undercover.
By a couple of chance meetings, Becca and Nikolai become fast friends. He
conceals his true identity, loving his new life as a regular guy. But Nikolai and Becca have a problem. She is on a river cruise, and every night leaves for a new city.
Together they wind up on one adventure after another, from dodging her father,
to enlisting the help of Dylan to escape the paparazzi. When Becca learns Nikolai’s true identity, their new found love is challenged. And as the rivercruise nears it’s end, they’re faced with having to say goodbye forever.
Does Becca go back to the states and start school at the university her father
chose? Does Nikolai return home to be thrust into the military? Or do they find a
way to stay together, setting everyone’s world upset down?
